Ian Trafford and Hayley Carson recently attended a one day First Aid course in Chorley on 21st January 2015.
The course is delivered in a single day and covers the HSE requirements for First Aid at Work in most workplace situations
The course included:
- Incident Management
- Care of the unconscious casualty
- Assessment of the casualty
- Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
- Choking and asphyxia
- Control of bleeding
- Common casualty incidents
The assessor operated a continuous assessment throughout the day and both Ian and Hayley passed the course and were awarded a certificate. The certificate awarded is valid for 3 years.
